This box style canoe pack is designed with help from outdoor writer, wilderness traveler, and Eagle Scout, Cliff Jacobson. Sized smaller than the Woodsman and Timber Cruiser Jr., it is meant to go light and fast or supplement another larger pack for a full camping kit. Built from a lighter weight 10.10 oz waxed canvas, the pack is lighter than it’s older “cousin” the Nessmuk pack. The top flap is longer, the inside zippered pocket is bigger, the grab handle has been moved, and twin pockets are “2-in-1″ design. The backstraps are 2.25″ cotton web, they are not padded, but are substantial enough not to roll. No waistbelt.
