Rugged simplicity. If you want to keep the weight, cost, and fuss to a minimum check out the Flight Bags. Leather handles add reliability, a double layer of waxed canvas at the bottom resists abrasion, leather protects corners and adds class.

Four sizes in the Flight Bag line–the Mini is a little bigger than a bowling ball bag. The Carry-on makes a neat and trim weekend bag; it complies with airline requirements for onboard luggage. The Medium is slightly bigger but its compressible nature will allow you to get through most size checks. The Large Flight Bag really is large, it will stow a lot of gear.

All the Flight Bags include a web shoulder strap with solid brass hardware. The strap attachment points are leather reinforced and placed on opposing sides of the generous zip opening. The arrangement makes a balanced and shoulderable load.

    Excellent bag

Posted by Taylor Christiansen on Nov 17th 2018

I came across this bag in Japan, and bought it in a heartbeat (Frost River goods are rare here, particularly at a bargain). It’s an odd size, somewhere between the “mini” and the “carry-on”, measuring at the seams, 12” high, 20” wide and 10” deep. Measurements aside, the amount the bag can hold accommodates most demands! My Summit Expedition Pack carries me through weekend trips, but this bag is perfect for longer travels away from home. The Flight Bag is a manifestation of what the folks at Frost River do best—making softgoods where rugged functionality meets a kind of quiet beauty—top to bottom, this bag looks as great as it holds. My favorite features are the handmade rolled-leather handles, and the timelessness of the waxed canvas. When packed with clothes, the bag makes a decent pillow too.

Very pleased with my large flight bag. Top notch quality and can hold anything and everything. Will definitely purchased another in a smaller size!

    Great & Durable Carryon

Posted by Scott Jones on Nov 8th 2018

When touring the store, I spotted the flight bag. I figured if it was good enough for James Bond (Daniel Craig), it would work for me! It wasn't long that I took my first trip to British Columbia and it turns out the carryon, along with the supplemental cord bags, was fantastic! I like having my Texas patch on it as well to rep my home state wherever I go!

    High Quality & Great Looks

Posted by Mick on Nov 5th 2018

After literally tearing through Athletic branded duffels (that were pricey), I looked hard for a longer lasting alternative. And there was the Flight Bag...perfect size, beautiful leather, waxed tin cloth - and American made!! I had to have one for weekends on Cape Cod. And the compliments keep coming...well done Frost River!!

    Flight Bag

Posted by Scott Cataline on Nov 5th 2018

I purchased the medium flight bag for a weekend trip to Bermuda. It held everything I needed for a trip in the cooler season. It's a great bag, and I wouldn't hesitate to add additional Frost River bags for our traveling needs.

I'll have this bag for life

This is the most bombproof well made bag I've ever owned. The craftsmanship is top notch. I haven't flown with it but it's great for short weekend trips.

    Perfect for the weekend

The missus and I love nothing better than a weekend away. This bag is perfect for a 2-3 night car trip for my stuff. The quality is really quite nice. I feel like this bag will last me for the rest of my life. I also take pride in owning something handmade in America. It's nicer and everyone who sees it can tell. I always get compliments. Not surprisingly, I found out about Frost River in 2012 after complimenting someone on a plane for their very nice flight bag.

    Incredibly durable travel bag!

Posted by Brianne Connolly on Nov 5th 2018

I bought this bag for my fiance 3 years ago, and it's still going strong! This bag is incredibly durable, whether you're checking it or carrying it next to you while you're traveling. On top of being durable, it looks rugged yet polished, which my fiance loves. A couple of stitches started to come out on the panel that connects the strap to the bag (not a structural piece) this year, and when I reached out to Frost River, they were more than happy to replace that little panel and return the bag to us at no cost -- THAT is what I call customer service. We love Frost River products and will continue to purchase them for the rest of our lives. If you're on the fence about this bag, buy it now! It'll be the best travel bag investment you'll ever make.

    My last Carry Bag? Yes!

Posted by Edward Kolkman on Nov 5th 2018

I'm a semi-frequent traveler both by car and plane and after many years of travel I've found that a grab and go duffel works best for me. I've purchased and worn out several less expensive options and when my last bag started to come undone recently I searched the internet for alternatives and came across Frost River and their very well reviewed Flight Bag. After watching the video on their site I determined that the Medium bag would suit me best. Well, I received it only yesterday but I'm quite sure that if I give it the least amount of care it should last my lifetime! I have never felt such a quality bag such as this. From the materials to the workmanship and design I am happy to no end. Now I'm deciding what my next purchase from them will be... I want more!
