The model 94 was in production from 1894 all the way up to 1980. This was not the end of the gun’s legacy though. In 1980 the manufacturers changed and production continued until 2006 when it was eventually discontinued after a 112 year run.

94 Winchester Case

This is by far the highest quality production rifle case on the market. The honest truth is the quality doesn't make up for the poor fit of most 94 winchester rifles. When looking at this product on the website, there are two pictures. The first is the cas closed, the second it is open with a 94 win laying ontop. This second photo is very misleading. The rifle pictured is like mine and like the vast majority of 94s manufactured a 20 inch barrel, at first glance it looks to be a perfect fit. On closer study it is apparent the the extra 5 or so inches in length are folded down to hide the fact that it sized for the rather uncommon 24 inch length barrel. This I am aware is a petty complaint but with that being said this is a pricey case, yes the quality is top notch but it should be a much better fit. Perhaps in the future a smaller size option should be offered. Thank you
