$110.00
High Falls -short day pack No.399 by Frost River is a small pack made from field tan waxed canvas. Long and narrow, it's shaped to accommodate a water bladder. The long and lean layout works great when you just want to carry some gear in a low profile pack.

It’s a short hike up to the High Falls of the Baptism River in Tettegouche State Park. The scenery is amazing, some of the best Minnesota has to offer! Good thing you brought a snack and some water so you can stay awhile.

The High Falls -Short Day pack is a perfect go-to on a quick hike. An inside sleeve works great for a water bladder, the hose can poke out the top (thanks to twin zipper pulls) and get clipped to the handy loops on the shoulder straps. Our waxed canvas is tough, quiet, and water resistant. The pack’s shape fits a back great, you’ll forget you’re wearing it until you want what’s inside. Made at Frost River in Duluth, Minnesota.

The High Falls is available in our traditional Field Tan, high visibility Hunter Orange, and our subtle and distinctive Heritage Black with antiqued hardware. All are made from the same core materials of hard-wearing waxed canvas, premium leather, sturdy cotton web and solid brass hardware. Frost River Canvas My State Buckskin Patch Info Below.

    A Great Day Pack

Posted by Ronald Schubert on Nov 8th 2020

I recently used my High Falls Short Day Pack for Mule Deer and Turkey hunts. This pack sat in the middle of back and road there perfectly. This pack allowed me to move without the burden of oversized pack especially traversing narrow areas. The need to take stuff for short jaunts then you can't get better than this. The extra webbing for attachment points only increases the organizational capability for this pack.

Posted by Hardtosatisfy Dave on Aug 8th 2020

This is a use-for-everything pack that comes in handy for day-to-day living.

It’s right-sized for quick outdoor hikes, holding a hydration pack or water bottles and just as handy to use for toting a tablet, books and paperwork during the workday.

Sturdy pack that Is used everyday and multifunctional. This one is four years old and shows no wear and tear.

    High Falls Day Pack

This is my daily pack and its great for city or woods tripping. only wish it had an external pouch to carry a water bottle on the outside, and I have broad shoulders, so I wish it also had an adjustable chest strap to snug it down. Overall a great pack though.

    high falls short-day pack

This very comfortable and efficient pack was excellent on our recent south rim, covid altered, Grand Canyon 23 mile hike. We parked at South Kaibab trailhead, along the rim to Bright Angel trailhead, down Bright Angel, overnight at Phantom Ranch and back up South Kaibab. Too many variables to mention, but the straps felt fine on my subburned shoulders, and the sturdy little pack carried plenty of water for the trip back up South Kaibab which has no water sources. Wonderful pack!

Perfect Pack for the Deer Hunter

Posted by George Dougan on May 9th 2020

Exceeds every expectation! Searched for months for a daypack for the deer woods that would be not too big or bulky, and not cluttered with buckles and straps that clatter and scrape against a rifle slung over my shoulder. And it even comes in orange! Everything I was hoping for, and built in the USA by people who care. Frost River, I love you folks!
    Thank you.
