A simple, sling bag of waxed canvas and cotton web. The Little Marais can be worn across the back or under an arm. Either way it works to simply carry some stuff. Wide at the bottom, narrow at the top and closed with a zipper-- about the only surprise with a Little Marais (besides the fact it will carry a half gallon growler jug) is the quality... and the value.

Nice bag, could use two features

Posted by Mike Coleman on Oct 28th 2018

My wife uses this as a purse. She thinks that there are two things that would make this a 5 star...
    1) A snap or closure on the front pocket to make sure that her phone doesn't fall out.
    2) Some kind of loop sewn into the inside near the top to hook her key's to. As it is they fall to the bottom and she has to fish for them.
As someone else said, it does a great job of holding a bottle of wine :).

Need a small bag? Check this one out!

Posted by Erik Young on Feb 20th 2018

I was looking for a small day bag when I came across this bag. At first I was very skeptical, as there is not a lot of reviews online. Most of the sling bags I've seen are either huge flowing spaghetti monsters or tiny carry your phone only shoulder bags. My family and I travel to Disney World as much as we can. So I wanted something that was very Checkpoint friendly, could fit in the small pockets on the rides, but carry a couple of bottles of water. This is a one zipper wonder! Everything I need for a day trip fits. It stand up (mostly) on its own and stays put on my side. I wear the pocket side close to my body and sewed patches on the other side. I'm 5'10" and way too high up in the 200's to be proud and strap fits me with room to spare. If you need a small daypack take a look at this one!

    Pros:
Checkpoint friendly, easy open without spilling everything.
One big YKK zipper and one large outer pocket
Packs more than you think it can.

    Cons:
I wish it had a internal loop to clip near the top of the bag.
