3.50 LBS

At home in Chicago, Eveleth, or North Hegman Lake, the Mesabi Range Pack will serve you well wherever you travel. Inside there’s room to pack a lunch or stow the goods from a quick stop at the market.

An internal sleeve easily stows a laptop computer or folders full of schoolwork. The Premium model offers extra leather trim and a handy exterior zip pocket. Harness leather backstraps, solid brass hardware, and waxed cotton canvas come together to make a robust daypack. It won’t carry days of supplies for exploring uncharted ore bodies on the Iron Range, but it will tote all the gear you need to learn about them in class.

    Mesabi Range Daypack

Posted by Russ Summers on Dec 2nd 2018

In my closet sit a hand-made Italian leather satchel and a also a premium leather briefcase. My Mesabi Range Daypack pulls daily duty now. It carries a laptop, my Frost River Padfolio, a water bottle, plus a thermos. And there is room to spare. I routinely get compliments from co-workers. Although I now use a smallish laptop, I confirmed early on that the padded sleeve will accommodate one of those behemoth laptops that we all used to carry back in the day. So, in addition to the other recommendations on this pack's utility in the field, I would like to offer my endorsement of it for office use.

    My go to pack

This pack does it all, from work to a day hike it's ready. Good storage inside for first aid kit, extra socks, or a snack. Outside there's two side pockets for water. The outside zippered storage is great for maps and extra phone battery. The deer skinned straps with sternum strap make it an easy carry all day.

    Awesome Daypack!

This is a great pack for a day trip. It easily held a camera, small tripod, filters, water bottle, snacks and still had room for a jacket. Built like a tank and looks great.
