    Raw Reliability

In 1832, led by an Anishinabe guide, explorer Henry Rowe Schoolcraft found the headwaters of the Mississippi River and combined the latin words veritas caput (meaning "true head") to name the Minnesota lake found there "Itasca." -MN DNR. Just as Lake Itasca opens up to the Mighty Mississippi our Itasca Outset Daypack opens wide to allow access to all your contents. With a deep six-inch gusset the Itasca Outset doesn't skimp on access or capacity. The robust zip closure is strong, secure, and reaches down low on the sides of the bag. Zip it open and see what's in there! Two secure pockets on the front of the pack allow quick access to small stuff. Several lash tabs allow customization of the front panel. Inside, there's a padded sleeve to separate contents or provide sanctuary for a laptop. Wide web backstraps support the pack with utility and grace. The premium materials, handcraft construction, and great layout combine to offer quick, comfortable access to whatever you choose to carry. Made at Frost River in Duluth, Minnesota.

Great backpack-meant to last

Only have a small complaint-no holder for water bottles. I have to put my water bottles inside the backpack. Other than that it is a great purchase. Strong zippers and reasonable storage that will balance your stuff so when you carry it the backpack feels balanced. Highly suggest.

Mors Pot

Broke in the new pot last weekend during a thru hike on the Pine Mountain Trail/FDR State Park, GA. It worked like a champ! Only cooked on a gas stove, but will try open fire next time. Would’ve given it 5 stars, if it came with a storage bag, but it was the envy of the rest of our group. They all wanted to know where to get one!

Mors pot

I love this thing. Broke it in over a 3-night wilderness camp. Besides, if Mors approved it...that's 5 stars right there.
