The Navigator Briefcase is the largest briefcase that Frost River sells. It has a many storage options that are sure to suit the needs of the owner far past the office.

Good looks and large capacity define the Navigator. Down the center, the Navigator is a pretty true briefcase. It is among the largest briefcases in our line. The main compartment offers space for a widescreen laptop/notebook computer and files. There are spaces for writing utensils, paper files, notebooks, a phone, the day to day stuff a person may need on the job. On each side of center there are huge pockets secured with twin leather straps. These aren't just pockets for papers, you can put big bulky stuff in there too like rain gear and a change of clothes. The Navigator spans a gap for travelers who want one bag to act as briefcase and luggage.

    This bag ROCKS!

I'm in my 50s and have had tons of bags over the years to bring my "stuff" into the office. Everything from simple backpacks to tool bags to expensive leather briefcases. This is probably the perfect bag for me. It fits my 16" MacBook Pro, in addition to all of my chords, my water bottle, a change of clothes/rain jacket and lunch (in my FR lunch bag). I love the fact that it lays flat when it's empty. It's really well built and I don't have to worry about ruining my $500 leather bag every time I use it. Oh, and I think it looks fantastic. I'm 5'7 and it doesn't look too big when I carry it.

the stich quality is indeed triple sewn ( stronger stitich vs single sewn) materials are finest quality too. even quality control is in this bag (no pencle checking here)

This is an incredibly spacious bag and you can feel the quality as soon as you pick it up. So happy to own this American made product, especially one of such high quality. Frost River staff was very helpful when I called and answered all my questions. I will certainly keep them in mind for any of my luggage/ storage needs again.

I spent months looking for a bag I could use as a briefcase or to take one a weekend away and I know now that I chose the perfect bag! The quality is wonderful and I know this will outlast me. It looks great, and everything about it says quality. The weighty solid brass fittings, the excellent shoulder-strap, the cavernous side-pockets and overall build of it. My wife and just had a weekend away and everything we needed just vanished inside and it still looked stylish. This is one of the nicest things I've ever bought. Thank you Frost River!

    Navigator bag

Great work bag. Room for laptop, books, lunch, snacks. Solid construction, a tad heavy, but we go back to being solid. Should last about 40 years, give or take.

    Excellent Bag/Briefcase

Very functional and looks great. Good mix of professional while looking unique. Only function I miss is a good place to put a water bottle or thermos. A collapsible pocket in the main compartment would be very helpful.

Briefcase that can be your 'do everything' bag

I have owned the Navigator for about 2 years now. In that time, I have carried it daily to work as a briefcase, used it for weekend trips, carried a half a case of wine in it, and generally just abused it. And it has taken all of it with no issues. Couple of things about it. I have a couple frost river pouches that I use to organize bits (like headphones and phone chargers, or toiletries when I travel), and I have a generic laptop sleeve to cushion and protect by laptop. I do this because it’s pretty simple inside - a big open area with a few side pockets. When you load it up like I do, it is nice to have a few organizer bits. The side pockets are very useful when you use the bag as luggage. They expand the capacity a bit, and are a great place for shoes or toiletries. After two years, the canvas looks new, the leather on the handles is wearing well (although I really need to clean it), and the brass - REAL brass - hardware is just now beginning to gain a patina that looks great. Only things I would consider changing would be I would have ordered the all leather shoulder strap and I sort of want a leather bottom. But only sort of. It is a great bag - one I anticipate owning for decades, and I can’t recommend it enough.
