Arrowhead Trail Rolltop Daypack

I think this bag will last a lifetime. I bought the 15 inch with cotton webbing straps. I really like the straps. I bought this after selling a bag I bought that didn't fit what I needed, I almost made my own. I am glad I didn't because it is good to support a company that has commercial sewing machines that will sew through this type of canvas. The hardware is really neat, my bag fits my 20 oz hydroflask perfectly, which was very exciting, and the other side is good for an umbrella. It will also fit a packing cube. I put a patch on it already, but in the future I would consider buying the leather initial patch. I like that it doesn't have zippers, I was bullied as a teenager by people who would break zippers, and I like the roll top bags because of it. It is a great bag that is versatile and comfortable to wear. I would also consider purchasing different products from this company in the future.

I used this on day hikes in Quebec: city, coastal, and national Park. It did well in the rain and see water. I did not sweat has hard with the canvas as compared to a synthetic material pack. I missed a zippered external pocket but that is the whole vibe of just taking slow.

I bought this without a particular use in mind. I love the look of Frost River packs, and owning a few of their items has given me the confidence that this pack will last a lifetime. Today, I used it as a tool carrier during my springtime trail maintenance. Even with a heavy load of sharp objects and awkward shapes, it felt comfortable and sturdy on my back. It’s a simple bucket design, but the quality and durability deserve high praise.
