Combining our expertise in crafting functional and durable gear, SFBW commitment to advocacy and education for the BWCA and surrounding areas, and Trampled by Turtles’ passion for the outdoors, the Sportsman Pack is a testament to our shared appreciation and love for nature. 

The Sportsman Pack is purpose-built to be the middle ground between a daypack and a full-sized canoe pack. Large enough to carry a couple of days worth of gear but small enough that it is still manageable to carry for miles trekking through the woods. The features are derived from both canoe packs and bushcraft packs. 2-in-1 zippered side pockets allow for extra external capacity, along with a third zippered pocket at the front for quickly accessing items. Long, adjustable leather flap straps give the pack remarkable vertical expansion, and lash squares at the bottom add to the versatility. With a mix of hunter orange and field tan canvas and a custom collaborative leather logo, the Sportsman Pack is sure to stand out.

This pack collaboration brings together our shared values of craftsmanship, durability, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. The pack will be available only on our website with a portion of the proceeds from each sale being donated to Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters’ environmental conservation initiatives that aim to protect and preserve the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Trampled By Turtles, known for their energetic performances and soulful music, have long been advocates for environmental conservation. As avid outdoor enthusiasts, the band members found a natural synergy with us and SFBW in the creation of this limited-edition pack. "We couldn't be more excited about this collaboration and the opportunity to partner with Frost River and Sportsman," said the band's spokesperson. Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters was founded in 2015. They were established as a hunting and angling voice for the protection of the BWCA. Since its inception, SFBW has worked to protect the land, water, and wildlife that make the BWCA an iconic place to hunt, fish, camp, and explore. Trampled by Turtles is a widely acclaimed folk-rock band hailing from Duluth, Minnesota. They got their start in 2003 and quickly made a name for themselves gaining recognition through their infectious energy and raw talent.
